Guest Rooms

The Lodge at River Run offers two luxurious upstairs guest rooms and three ground level rooms all facing the river.

The two upstairs rooms, Cascades and River Watch, are similar in their elegant appointments. A high king-size bed adorns each room and a fascinating daybed nestles in the gable windows overlooking the river. The windows over the daybed open so that you can hear the river and let in the cool mountain air. This is an idyllic spot to read and relax, and a favorite feature among our guests. Each room sleeps up to three people. Rates on our reservation system are for double occupancy and an additional charge applies for a third person.

The three downstairs rooms are very unique. The Hummingbird Room has two twin-size canopy beds, excellent for guests who prefer a bed to themselves. This is a beautiful room with a large bathroom and an outside entrance that opens onto a porch.

The Rainbow Trout Room may be our smallest room, but it is very cozy and inviting! It accommodates two people in a king-size bed. With an outside private entrance to the Elk River, this room invites you to enjoy the outdoors. The bathroom (with tub and shower) is connected to the room by a private hallway.

The Mountain Laurel Room, our largest bedroom, can accommodate up to four people. The room features a log-style king-size bed and a futon sofa bed.  This will sleep two adults and two children or a third adult. There is a private bath with a shower, a large flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator and coffee maker. The door opens out onto a private covered porch, making it a very private room where you can come and go as you please. Rates on our reservation system are for double occupancy and an additional charge applies for a third person.

**All rooms are stair accessible only**

Support or Therapy Animals: While Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, they are not considered service animals under the ADA. These support animals provide companionship, relieve loneliness, and sometimes help with depression, anxiety, and certain phobias, but do not have special training to perform tasks that assist people with disabilities. Even though some states have laws defining therapy animals, these animals are not limited to working with people with disabilities and therefore are not covered by federal laws protecting the use of service animals.  Therapy animals provide people with therapeutic contact, usually in a clinical setting, to improve their physical, social, emotional, and/or cognitive functioning.
