My daughter shared this recipe with me and I served it to guests. Everyone loved it so I decided to share it with you! It is also a very pretty appetizer so your table will look very colorful. This is the first of recipes I use that will come your way by the blog.
Cool Veggie Pizza Appetizer
1package refrigerated crescent roll SHEET
2 8 oz cream cheese softened and mixed with 1 Package of Ranch dressing mix
1 Carrot finely chopped, 1/4 C red bell pepper, 1/4 C yellow bell pepper… both finely chopped
1 C broccoli florets finely chopped ( I blanch for 1-2 Minutes to brighten color)
1/2 C green onions finely chopped
1 C finely shredded cheese
Preheat oven to 375 Bake 10 Minutes till golden brown I use a sheet of parchment paper. Take out and put on plate so it will not sweat. Cool for 15 minutes
Spread Cream cheese mixture ( ranch and cream cheese) over pastry then top with chopped vegetables, ending with shredded cheese. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Slice into small squares. ENJOY!
